Do I need to be home during my service visit?
As long as our service team has access to your pool, then you do not have to be present at the time of your service visit. This is not to say you shouldn’t be home, we love meeting all our Clients, but we also understand that every Client has preexisting obligations to be present for. You will always receive a notification of your appointment via text message, along with a follow up email letting you know how the visit went.
For any repair or service work that is performed, payment is due immediately upon completion. We can either (a) send your bill via email for you to pay online or (b), you can pay by check. If paying by check, please leave the check at the property and inform our office of where it is located or provide the check in-person to the service technician.
Our service team will send a follow-up email if they have any issues on the job and need assistance to complete the repair, replacement, or installation. Please always make sure to check these emails as they are vital to the completion of your requested service.
Our service team will not come out in inclement weather of any kind. This is because they often work with electrical wiring or plumbing, which cannot be done in the rain. If your service visit will need to be rescheduled due to inclement weather, our service team will always make sure to communicate via email and/or phone so you know as such. We know time is of the essence with service work, so please check your email and/or phone for communication from our service team in the instance of inclement weather so we can get you promptly rescheduled for your visit.
If our service team arrives, and there are aggressive dogs on the property, the visit will be canceled at no refund. If you know your dog is protective and/or aggressive, please always make sure to have them put away before our team makes it out to the property. Soda City Pools and Spas will always strive to provide our employees with safe working conditions.
When our service team is performing an acid wash or a drain and clean, they will always reach out to you beforehand to discuss the best place to drain the water from your pool to avoid any potential damage to your property.
